She conducted several regional health programs to improve the health status of the local dwellers. Then, she pursued her Healthcare Operational Management MSc studies at the University of Warwick, UK, from 2018 to 2019. Since graduation, she has worked in diverse fields of health and clinical research.

Dr Donald H Lalonde is a professor of Plastic Surgery at Dalhousie University in Saint John, Canada. He is a Past President of the following 3 organizations: the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Association for Hand Surgery. He is a past Chairman of the following 3 organizations: the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the RCPSC Plastic Surgery Specialty Committee and the RCPSC Plastic Surgery Exam Committee. He has written and published over 180 papers and 30 book chapters. He has edited 2 editions (2016 and 2021) of the Wide Awake Hand Surgery book (Thieme Publisher New York).

Kravitz served as guest editor for several journals including Wound Central a supplemental addition to the Journal of Wound Care as recently as 2023. Additionally, he has been the founder of three different medical organizations dealing with wound healing all of which still function today. He also remains active as a President and Founder of two of the most well-established organizations in wound healing, the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH) and the longest-running physician-specific certification in wound healing, the Council for Medical Education Testing. CMET was founded in 2008 and has recently (2021) included certification for nurse practitioners and physician assistants His main interest in research, publications and teaching has been in venous disease and biomechanics of nonhealing wounds. As president of the Academy (APWH) and faculty member wound healing center at TUSPM (Temple University School Podiatric Medicine), he travels extensively visiting wound healing centers and hospitals. He has a keen interest, particularly in venous disease and has written several articles pertaining thereto.

Maura Sanders has been a bedside nurse for 8 years, gaining experience in Long Term Care, Home Care, and Acute Care in the Progressive Care Unit, where she has served as both a Charge Nurse and a Training Preceptor. She is deeply passionate about Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care and has completed the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Education Program at Rutgers University Camden. This specialized training has allowed her to support various units through patient care and education for patients, families, and caregivers. Maura also plays an active role in her facilitys Skin, and Wound Assessment Team, leads the Skin Care Champion Program, and has recently joined the Hospital Systems Pressure Injury Reduction Council.
